Every Tuesday at 4:30-7:00 pm we open the doors to the City Mission located at Isidor Kjellbergs gränd 3. No advance notification is needed but we encourage you to get in touch with us so that we can make necessary preparations and adjust our resources.
All counseling takes place on Tuesdays on above mentioned time. We only offer counseling outside our regular meetings in exceptional cases. To limit the risk of misunderstandings and mistakes we do not offer any counseling over the phone or through e-mail. However, if you have any questions or information regarding an ongoing case you are welcome to convey this by phone or e-mail.
In urgent cases, please to call us. Our phone number is found at the bottom of this page.
Upon arriving to Linköpingsjursiterna, you will receive assistance from at least two advisors. The first meeting is aimed to give us a picture of the legal situation. In order to be able to help you as efficiently as possible, we need as much relevant information and documentation regarding your situation as possible.
We appreciate if you during the first meeting tell us thoroughly about your situation. If you wish to communicate with us in another language than Swedish or English, and have not given any advance notification about your visit, we recommend that you bring a friend who can help translating.
During the first meeting we are generally quite cautious about giving advice and making statements regarding the legal situation. This is to avoid any mistakes. The first meeting usually ends with setting up a new appointment. The new appointment is usually set to one of our regular advisory meetings, but it may in some cases be on a different time, depending on the situation.
No case is too big or too small for us. We have helped clients with issues ranging from inheritance, applying for housing benefits to lengthy migration processes. Regardless the issue, we want you to contact us at an early stage since we want to be able to avoid further issues, but also because we do not always have the resources necessary to solve more complex legal cases in a short amount of time.
Naturally there are cases which are too complex or difficult for us to handle. We do our best to forward such cases to professional lawyers.
